REMINDER: At our meeting on 7.19.12 all pony club members (not Horse Masters)attending should plan on completing their pre-tests for their rating goals for the remainder of 2012. Please come to pony club with at least TWO pencils in addition to your pony club manuals, binders, and something to write on!

The standards have been updated for 2012! At the USPC Annual meeting, this PowerPoint presentation was shared to help explain the changes between the old standards and the new standards. You can see the presentation by following this link: http://www.ponyclub.org/default.asp?page=LocalLevelTesting and then clicking on "Click Here" in the blue box labeled Standard Comparisons.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU is that you need to make sure that you are looking at the current standards when you are preparing for all pony club activities. This is especially important for you when you are getting ready to go for your next certificate/rate-up (USPC is now referring to ratings as "certificates") and when you are preparing to teach.

HHPC Annual Holiday Party is Tomorrow!
Tomorrow is our annual holiday party! We'll be at Jan J's from 3-5. We will celebrate the year, present our annual awards, and enjoy a final hoorah for 2011. Please remember to bring a snack to share. If you would like to participate in our gift exchange, pleae bring a wrapped gift ($15 values).

Last Mounted Meeting 2011
It's hard to believe the year has gone by so fast! Today is our last mounted meeting of this year. While the sun is out, it will be a bit on the chilly side. I know you've heard it before, but please dress appropriately!
In addition to bringing your pony club binders, manuals, and the all-important armband, please also remember to bring your pens. We have holiday cards to sign for our friends!
Finally, many families are out of town on the 18th (this is when we scheduled our annual hhpc holiday party), so we will reschedule it for a time when we can have more memember there!
